The ethics of circumcision
Andrew Gross March 12, 2023 INTRODUCTION In November 2022 Brian Earp's paper, The Ethics of Circumcision, was published as a chapter in a book on bioethics. [1] A bioethicist and research fellow at the University of Oxford in England, Earp has described the chapter as "my most up-to-date and comprehensive accounting of the ethics of circumcision." [2] This is a very well thought-out paper that deserves serious consideration. In this article I provide an analysis and response.
